Working on a pet theory of mine. Please answer the questions, if you'd like, and I will average it all out and explain my theory after a few days' postings. Thanks!

1) Do you hear better in one ear than the other? If, "yes", in which do you hear better?

2) Which ear do you use more in tuning your instrument(s) or when listening to yourself make music?

1. No. 2. Right -- since that's where the guitar is -- unless I'm playing the guitar on my left knee, then I use the left ear.

Well, my left ear has suffered from less hearing loss than my right ear....so I guess I hear better with my left...

Now as to which ear to I tune my "instrument" with...I think that is a bit too private of a matter to post here....

1. Yes. The left. 2. Left, usually, but not always. I tend to listen to the phone with my right ear, though.

* I'm not aware of any difference in my ears' capability but I tend to feel that because I am right handed, I am also right footed and right eared.

* I've noticed that when I'm listening intently (as in tuning) I cock my head. The right, again.

Well I have mild tinnitus in my left ear and herself thinks the old fool is getting harder of hearing but I reckon I just tune out!
I doubt if I could tune anything by ear, musical klutz

Right ear has about 80% loss, use left ear for everything.

I'm sorry you'll have to speak up I can't understand a word your saying.

If i am looking at the person speaking or singing then I am fine but if I am not then I have very poor hearing.

1) Both ears work fine

2) I don't favor one ear over the other - in fact, I will often turn my head so I can hear equally with both ears.
