I´m very interested in every seechantey out there. If You have a seechantey from Ireland or the Brittish islands I would very much like to get my hands on it. Perhaps we can trade...

Hi! Uese the search box at the upper right corner of this and many other pages here. Try searching under @sea or @sailor (the @ brings up general categories). You'll find lots of songs. If you have songs that aren't in the database, please share them with all of us here in the forum. We can never get enough sea chanteys.

Also try Stan Hugill's "Shanties Of The Seven Seas", published by Mystic Seaport Museum, 1994. In his bibliography you'll find just about anything in print that has to do with shanties. He has by far the largest & most complete collection to date. Barry

Try this one Jazzel..sea shanties..I love this site..& nice looking schooner, too. When sailing on the Great Lakes Ore boats, I once saw the Clipper Ship Christian Radich from Norway making a tour after winning International Sailing Races..even heard some Norse singing on board, we passed right by them..Apparently that tradition is still not quite dead...I'm glad to say!
