Jack Lawrence posted to the flatpick mail list as follows:

***********************************

Hi All,

I'll be in England doing a little playing and a little vacationing in March. On 3/16 I'll be at the Greyhound Pub in Wadhurst, Sussex for a concert and also 3/18 for a guitar workshop. My contact in Wadhurst is Gerry Williams. I'll be in St. Ives, Cornwall on 3/22 at the Westin Hotel. There are some tentative dates in England and Ireland that will, hopefully be nailed down in the next couple of weeks. I'll be over from the 14th to the 26th. Hope to meet some pickLs there.

Jack Lawrence, journeyman guitarist.

************************

Jack's regular gig is as Doc Watson's touring partner.

His picking will cause your socks to roll up and down of their own volition, and the hair to stand on your end...I mean.... and he sings good too.

He is receptive to invitations to meet after the gig and chat, especially if Beer is involved.

Peter.

I think that will probably be the Western Hotel in St. Ives.

I can endorse Peter's endorsement. Jack Lawrence's flatpicking is mindblowing. Not a style you get to hear in the UK too often, so don't miss him.

Murray

Don't be selfish! Yorkshire, UK, has one of the world's best flatpickers already! You don't need them all!

Peter.
