I have just finished looking at a 90 day Refresh for Lyr Req: and realized just how much easier it is when duplicate threads or requests have been marked as such. I just wanted to say a Great Big Public THANK YOU!!! for doing all that you do.

If I wasn't so chicken about fonts and colors, this would be huge and in red!! (but not a blinker/marquee!! lol)

Joe and the Clones deserve all the praise we can give; likewise Max's Elves. Not to mention DickG and Susan for their work on the DT.

An awful lot to be thankful for on this site - and that's not even going into the forum discussions and the valuable contibutions people make there.

Jeri, it appears that your function is taken to supersede mine but I really do not understand why JavaScript works the way it does.

In programming languages such as Pascal and C++, your code would have (correctly IMO) produced a compile error as you are using a function name that has already been used.

If either functions were renamed, e.g. call one of them clicked1, and that function was called by the appropriate buttons onClick event, things would work correctly.

Here is an example of using one function to respond to 2 buttons.
