Subject: 'Walkin' that Pretty Girl Down the Road' From: GUEST,ch2os@netva.com Date: 01 Mar 01 - 05:03 PM This is an old Luther Davis tune....He was from Galax, va. I am not sure whether there are lyrics or not...but...I bet there are some...It's a nifty little tune played out of the key of G....I am an old-time clawhammer ..drop-thumb banjo player...my husband plays old-time fiddle and guitar..the tune is sooo neat to play that lyrics would really embellish its' presentation. thanx a bunch... |
