This is an old Luther Davis tune....He was from Galax, va. I am not sure whether there are lyrics or not...but...I bet there are some...It's a nifty little tune played out of the key of G....I am an old-time clawhammer ..drop-thumb banjo player...my husband plays old-time fiddle and guitar..the tune is sooo neat to play that lyrics would really embellish its' presentation. thanx a bunch...

Not finding anything with that title. Pete Seeger did "Walking That Pretty Girl Home" and there is an old time tune called "Brownskin Girl/Gal Down the Road".....could it be either of those instead?
