Alan, I don't know about the MIDI stuff. I have a sound card and SB16 and icon for MIDI, but just get a message, no midi mapper and can't open files. I sure would like a simple explanation on how to get a MIDI and open myself to ABC files and tunes off the net. Can you help? I have an e-mail address on the forum. Robert--musical score would be great or write the notes in abc format. You can send it through our e-mail if you don't want to tie up this thread.

If you have a SB16 and it's support software you should not have any problems. What operating system are you using?

The family of Unfortunate Rake/Streets of Laredo, etc. have been given DT #350. There are 8 versions/variants in the database with about three tunes among them. None are the real bluesy verssion of St. James.
