Subject: Mudcatters in Denmark From: The Dane Date: 23 Mar 01 - 12:14 PM Are there any other Mudcatters in Denmark? I'm thinking of a Mudcat gathering... so if you're out there, please let me know... jacob |
Subject: RE: Mudcatters in Denmark From: LR Mole Date: 23 Mar 01 - 12:28 PM Well, I was there for a while some years ago, long enough to find out that when you ask Danes what the word for anything is in Danish the answer always sounds like, "Rrrrr." |
Subject: RE: Mudcatters in Denmark From: The Dane Date: 23 Mar 01 - 12:34 PM Yeah well, I never said anything about our language being the most beautifull language in the world... But then again, it depends where you stayed. There are only 5 million of us, but we have more dialects in this country than most countries have (at least when you look at the size). |

Subject: RE: Mudcatters in Denmark From: The Dane Date: 30 Mar 01 - 12:13 PM Hi all of you I didn't expect as many replies... I'm sorry to say I won't be at Toender this year, as my sister is having a baby around that time. Anyway I live in Copenhagen, so if you're ever around these parts, drop me line: jacob.svendsen@aktuelt.dk And Sam: Drop me a line, as I will be within driving distance of Toender when the festival is on. By the way, have you got information on other bands playing this year - the festival homepage has not been updated yet. And Murray: I'll drop you a line. If you come to Aarhus, then who knows... we might be able to figure something out. Jacob |

Subject: RE: Mudcatters in Denmark From: Brendy Date: 31 Mar 01 - 05:42 PM Jada. Murray. I was just saying to Jacob that if you are in Århus, you must call into 'The Dub'. I used to play in 'Paddy go Easy's' on Åboulevarden, until it changed hands, and most of the staff migrated to the Dub. A mighty place! B. |
Subject: RE: Mudcatters in Denmark From: murray@mpce.mq.edu.au Date: 01 Apr 01 - 03:04 AM Jeg forstaad Brendy. Jeg Taler daaligere Dansk, men jeg proeve ogsaa. Thanks for the info. I will try the "Dub" when/if I get to Aarhus Jacob. If I come to Denmark, I am almost sure to land in Kob. I will let you know if I decide to stay there for a few days. Murray |
