There is a new movie being made by Eugene Levy -- something like OH BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU but it's a send-up of the folk scene for some reason. As bad as I thought "OH BROTHER" was, this has just got to be sickening from all I've heard on ther FOLK ALLIANCE E-mail list. If anybody knows about this or knows the name of the film, please start a new thread !!

Just from heresay evidence, I nominate this film as the REAL antichrist !!!

UFO's, Wicans, and the anti-christ are in concert together. This is explained in the "Cooper Document" from the UK. http://area51.upsu.plym.ac.uk/~moosie/ufo/txt/consp/022.htm

The aliens were using humans and animals for a source of glandular secretions, enzymes, hormonal secretions, blood and in horrible genetic experiments. The aliens explained that these actions as necessary to their survival. They stated that their genetic structure had deteriorated and that they were n o longer able to reproduce. They stated that if they were unable to improve their genetic structure their race would soon cease to exist. We looked upon their explanations with extreme suspicion. Since our weapons were literally useless against the aliens, MJ-12 decided to continue friendly diplomatic relations with them until such time as we were able to develop a technology which would then enable us to challenge them on a military basis. Overtures would have toduring World War II and soon obtained the entire Vatican study which included the prophecy. This prophecy stated that if man did not turn from evil and place himself at the feet of Christ the planet would self destruct and the events described in the book of Revelations would indeed come to pass. It stated that a child would be born who would unite the world with a plan for world peace and a false religion beginning in 1992. By 1995 the people would discern that he was evil and was indeed the Anti-Christ. World War III would begin in the Middle East in 1995 with the invasion of Israel by a United Arab nation using conventional weapons which would culminate in a nuclear holocaust in the year 1999. Between 1999 and 2003 most of life on this planet would suffer horribly and die as a result. The return of Christ would occur in the year 2011.

dollar short - day late (as usual) but my youngest daughter, who just sacrificed her finger tip to a Ford Galaxy 500's door, used to live at 667 35th street in Oakland (calif.) but moved out when HER neighbor, a witness in a drug case, was murdered to keep him from testifying! I don't think that he was the antichrist, though.

Anton LeVey would LIKE to be the antichrist.

I could accept Thatcher as antichrist

Saddam Hussein and the regime in Iraq are offering $10,000 per family if they're able to persuade a family to have their teenager strap explosives on them and go out and kill themselves and kill innocent men, women, and children. It turns out that he has raised that amount, and it's $25,000 per family, not $10,000 per family.

Think of it. Here is an individual who is the head of a country, Iraq, who has proudly, publicly made a decision to go out and actively promote and finance human sacrifice for families that will have their youngsters kill innocent men, women, and children. That is an example of what it is we're dealing with.

Wal-Mart's just a test. Shoe-Mart (?) in the Philippines is the real thing. (I've never been to either one, but then the best apocalyptic fears are based on hearsay.)

I do not believe that Lenin is the antichrist, but I did recently post my Siberian Memories (from when I traversed the USSR by train as a 14-y.o. kid, in 1968), and one of them propounds the doctrine that Lenin is the Beast of the Apocalypse, which is close.

I remember Chuck Barris once personally gonging a sweet young girl singing "Whispering" backed up by a marching band. So, somehow I wound up learning "Whipering" years later, but every time I play it I think about that mean SOB destroying that sweet young ego. Probably not a deed of antichrist stature, but pretty low anyway.

Kim C, The Weakest Link is a HUGE hit over here in the UK. It was run against Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? once and it got higher viewing figures. I think it was something like MIllionaire got 9 million viewers but Weakest Link got 10 million.
Anne also got into trouble when she appeared on a programme called "Room 101" where celebrities are asked to put the things they hate the most into Room 101. She tried putting the Welsh in!!

Anne Robinson is horrible. I began to think of the example this show sets, especially for children watching. Its NOT "OK" to be shitty and rude to people (Goodbye).

Anyway, I second the vote for Ted Turner with a close second for Hanoi Jane.

Well, that's it solved then. You get my vote Dave. And trying to shift the blame onto your Auntie Christine was a very typically Beastly act.

You could at least do the decent thing and have a rubber stamp made with your sign so that the rest of us can buy bread machines in Walmart and other stuff. (Read Revelations for the explanation - suffice to say that none of us will be able to buy and sell stuff without having the mark of the Beast, aka Dave the Gnome). Or it might mean that the Beast is a barcode.

And Les - I live at the very start (or is it end?) of the A666 in Swinton, Manchester. Well - not quite very start. St Johns Church has that honour. Bit of a worry to it's parishoners I guess!

Out of interest, before they pulled it down to build a roundabout, the honour belonged to the Brittania pub. The boundry between Swinton and Salford ran through the pub and people used to move from vault to lounge as different closing times applied. Perhaps they were possessed realy and not just wanting more beer???

Cheers

I don't mind being one of the Four Horsemen of the Apostrophe. I hate it when that little squiggle gets misued.

Getting back to the Anti-Christ, doesn't the number 666 come into this. Using that clue, I have determined that he or she (or it probably) lives in Bolton, Lancashire (where they have that road number). And because I firmly believe that, if there is an Anti-Christ, Lancashire will be involved somewhere.

sledge,

That reminds me of the first Terry Pratchett book I ever read: Good Omens. The four horsepersons of the Apocalypse are really funny. I especially love the one for War - oh, and the one for famine as well. (Old MacDonalds had a hamburger joint, e-i-e-i-o, and in that hamburger joint there were lots of malnourished people, e-i-e-i-o....)
