Yeah, I know it's not really folk music:) but does anyone have the lyrics for Richard Thompson's "Pharaoh"? Can't quite pull them off the great version I have from someone else and I don't have his CD. Thanks. Marc

Hi! If you like Richard Thompson, you can find the lyrics to Pharaoh (and everything else he's ever written) at this site:
http://www.alphalink.com.au/~sfy/RT/

It's a neat site; there's a complete discography, lyrics to all the songs, tour dates, etc.

I've got the lyrics to this, but would love some chords. I'm putting together a songbook for our summer camp, and this song just seems to cry out "campfire" to me. But I don't have the chords, and I don't want to include it without them.

Anyone have good guitar chords for this one? Great song.

M

Hi Moll. I know Matt_R plays this song, so if he doesn't show up here you could maybe PM him.

Sigh...never mind. Actually I just tracked down the chords on the 'net (shoulda thought o' that first, I know :P). But then I sent the lyrics to the camp director for approval and she said she thought it might be a little over the campers' heads. Sigh. While I disagree, she da boss, right?

Oh well. At least I have the chords!
