Subject: Sounds on CD From: Lyndi-loo Date: 17 May 01 - 09:14 AM Today's "New Scientist" carries a story about a newly released CD entitled "A Chance to Cut and a Chance to Cure". It contains sounds recorded at actual operating theatres....."the squelching sounds of liposuction; the tiny microindustrial drones and glitches of corrective laser eye surgery and on the final track entitled "Californian rhinoplasty" the sounds of human tissue being cauterised and nose bones being broken during plastic surgery" What an appealing CD. What sounds would mudcatters like on their CDS (Spaw - you stay out of this one! LL |
