The Harbour Lights every Tuesday, beside Shoreham Harbour.
The Royal Oak at Lewes every Thursday.
The Wellington at Steyne Road, Seaford on Friday 22nd has Bob Copper and welcomes floor singers.
The Lewes Arms every Saturday.
I'll be at Seaford, about nine miles East of Brighton, maybe I'll see you there, Mary:-)

What's public transport like down there to any of these places as I'm not going to have my car. I've been booked into a hotel on the front, near the pier. Daytime, I'll be in the conference all week, but if you're about one evening maybe we could explore the possibilities of Brighton's pubs.

Trains to Seaford and Lewes and busses as well. Trains run late enough for you to leave the clubs at closing time and catch them without having to run. Shoreham is a short taxi ride along the front and used to be on a bus route, probably still is. If you want to meet up or need further info post me here or e mail me at

You can also check out www.whatson.brighton/folk

Any one in Worthing on 6 July is welcome to our club at the Dickens, Heene Road, - we have open mic format mainly and some great acts turn up - Bing Lyle, Richard Durrant,

Also, an extra "Mega-bites" in the garden with cheap real ale on 20 July!

Remember The Willows at Arundel (Cricket club) every Weds - just seen Bill JOnes, Mrs Ackroyd's, MIchael Chapman and Bob Fox there in the last couple of months.

Cheers, Hille
