On this extraordinarily beautiful site, is there a succinct listing of which background songs are played to introduce each category, e.g., Short History Pages="Bonnie House o' Airlie?" I believe I saw it once but can't find it again. Thank you. Sheila

This site is also lited in the links database. See banner on top - there may be some others in there you'd like to explore. I also agree about the site - one of my favorites on the internet!

You can click on the link to each background song to get the lyrics and notes, and to download the midi. I don't know if information on all of the page background songs used to be kept in one place, but it seems like that's what you're saying. I don't remember ever seeing something like that, although I could have missed it. I can't find anything now.

I don't know of the page in question but I have got a little lost in Contemplator on a couple of occasions (I've had particular difficulty finding the search for some reason or other) and then I made the discovery that entering an invalid page takes you to http://www.contemplator.com/error.html. I've fount it quite useful.

Lesley is a "herself" and not a "himself" and she often pops into Mudcat. She would be happy to help you if you contact her through the Contemplator site.

Her site is one of the absolute best music sites I know of, and with the added bonus of Barry Taylor's Tunebook, it is probably one of my most freequently visited sites, afer Mudcat, of course.

You will have better luck finding Lesley at the Contemplator site. She is not a frequent visitor here, as far as I know. The thread will drop off the list soon.

Just find the contact e-mail address at the Contemplator site and e-mail her.
