You know, when I posted to the thread about people that I would like to thank for their influence on me, I should have added a name. This gentle man (space intentional) is a profound influencing factor on most he comes in contact with. He shows us ordinary folk that we can have an impact through our music that far outreaches the ability to play it. His soul is a gentle one, and his caring nature exceeds even his way with a pun (and that is legendary.....LOL). I will never forget the gift he sent me. Art believes in passing it on, and that is the mark of a true folkie.

We are better for your presence, Sir Arthur, and I am blessed to count you among my friends. Happy Birthday, and if we are lucky you will have many more.

Ah, decade birthdays. Sorry I didn't note that, Art. I just got in trouble w/ my dad because he attained his 80th year without me noting it. Given family history, he didn't think he's get there, either. I do keep track of the months & days, but tend not to notice the years.
