I think they were mentioned in the recent thread on the Cleckheaton Festival.

Never heard of the band but if you looked out of our back bedroom window when we lived in Smithy Bridge near Littleborough 25 years ago, you could see Blackstone Edge. JohnB

As an "old" Rochdalian myself too, I well remember the place. My uncle had a farm type house up on the moor there. Extremely bleak but still beautiful.
