Subject: RE: BS: Keswick UK question From: GUEST,Dave the Cookie-less (At the mo)Gnome Date: 13 Jul 01 - 08:43 AM I'll actualy be on the west coast, John - basking in the Sellafield sunshine...;-). Don't know any sessions I'm afraid. 60 Miles is about right (maybe 70?) - remember I'm only 2 miles from the M61 - you have to go a lot further from south of the Ship Canal! Sorry Alice, couldn't PM as I'm not on my own machine:-( DtG |
Subject: RE: BS: Keswick UK question From: GUEST,Les/Manchester Date: 14 Jul 01 - 02:25 AM We have been up to Keswick every Whit for about 12 years and althoough we have never really looked for folk we have seen or heard nothing. Did folkies do something really bad so that the fine people of Keswick banned it forever? Now what could that have been? Whole nights of the Wild Rover? Barber's Shop as folk? A serious bout of clogs and waistcoats. Death by reels? No, I can think of nothing so evil. But perhaps somebody else can? |
Subject: RE: BS: Keswick UK question From: GUEST,Susie Date: 14 Jul 01 - 12:05 PM I lived there until recently and still live only a few miles away. My daughter is still at Keswick school and I am reasonably familiar with the town. Maybe I can help? Susie |
