Well, she is there and having the time of her life. She'll be in London until the end of September then off to Lancaster. She is seeing all the usual tourist sights. Anybody got some of the out of the way sights she could go to?

Well, her field of study is history and religion so don't sell the monastery short.

Of course, who knows what kind of job she can get with that degree. Can you say "Do you want fries with that?"!

Quite similar prospects to Max, Bill D., and myself......All have Philosophy degrees and I found out that if you take it to McDonalds and give them a dollar, they'll give you a cup of coffee!

Will the degree insulate your lap if you spill that coffee on yourself?

Hey Brett,

Glad to hear she made it over here ok. If she fancys a few days in yorkshire one time then she is quite welcome to stay with me and my family, and I live near Ian n Sam n the Jug. Sam and Ian are my session buddies...actually, hmmm...I'm their session taxi driver, yeah that's more accurate. So if she wants to come over for music, shopping, sightseeing whatever..then she's welcome. I'm nearly 21 so I must be about the same age as her.

I'll pm you

Emma
