Subject: Terra Folk From: GS Date: 23 Aug 01 - 06:31 AM Pretty amazing Slovenian Folksters Terra Folk are playing a few dates in the South of England this week - well worth making the effort if you can. They play everything from Celtic to Slovenian via Italy and their own compositions. Friday 24th August - The Sun, North Street, Carshalton Saturday 25th August - The Red Lion Inn, Sutton Thursday 30th August - Tantric Jazz Club, St.Nicholas Street, Bristol. or check them out at Terra Folk

Subject: RE: Terra Folk From: HuwG Date: 31 Mar 03 - 07:21 AM Winners of the Radio 3 World Music award - and played at The Lift Global Music Club last Saturday (March 29th). Quite a coup this; their only North of England venue (yes, yes, Edinburgh is in Scotland, which is north of England, but you know what I mean). They were dragged back onstage for three encores. Well worth listening to. |
