I'm lookin for a complete version of a Loreena Mckinnett version of a poem called the Highwayman - I've got the poem but she's adapted it somewhat to make for a shorter song (the poem has about 15 verses) anyone able to help? Cxxx

Charlie, are you talking about the Phil Ochs adaptation of the Poem by Alfred Noyes? If so, click the link. NB there's a link to the shortened version, with chords, at the bottom.

Think that's the one - the Author rings a bell but I just had her singing it. thanx alot - I'm trying to learn it - have the tune down pat i just need to learn the words now. Cxxx

Open up google and search Phil Ochs. There is a lyric and chord site with The Highwayman fully printed with chords.
