Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Jane Melissy From: GUEST,Cindy Date: 10 Sep 01 - 08:55 PM I'm in the USA and I don't know the exact lyrics...but he peeps through a key hole and she is putting on her golden tresses, and screws on a wooden leg. Hope that helps. My grandfather was born in 1895 so I assume it was 20 or so years after that as my mother was born in 1922. Cindy |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Jane Melissy From: Sorcha Date: 10 Sep 01 - 10:50 PM Still no joy. Looks like we are going to have to wait for someone who knows this; the "putting on tresses/wooden leg" is vaguely familiar, but my brain cell has gone walkabout. I did a lot of Googling and Levy. Anybody?? |
