Subject: FATHER From: Michael in Swansea Date: 13 Sep 01 - 08:47 AM A friend of mine asked if I knew the words of the (Australian?) song that starts F is for the few things that he gave us, (she thinks) it then goes through A to R spelling out FATHER. I told her I didn't but I know someone who does. Anyone? You've not let me down yet. Mike |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: FATHER From: Michael in Swansea Date: 14 Sep 01 - 03:35 AM R is for the ride out to Long Bay? An Australian prison, she thinks again The story is that father is in prison and he's coming home today, (maybe). Mike

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: FATHER From: Michael in Swansea Date: 15 Sep 01 - 04:56 AM I'll probably see Sharon this evening, ( she's from N.Z. Why should a Kiwi want the words of an Oz song?), anyway I'll ask if she remembers any more. Be back on line Monday |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: FATHER From: SeanM Date: 15 Sep 01 - 05:37 PM I don't know the lyrics, but I HAVE heard this, and I'm pretty sure it was in a movie or TV show. I'm leaning towards movie. Maybe someone else will get memory jogged by that, hopefully... M |
