...It's Me Again, Lord comes from the fine western Kentucky gospel songwriter Dottie Rambo. A native of Camp Brechenridge, Kentucky, Dottie began writing songs when she was 12 years old, and soon attracted the attention of gospel giant Jimmie Davis, who began popularizing her songs. Though not specifically a gospel songwriter, Dottie Rambo produced favorites like One More Valley and Build My Mansion (Next Door To Jesus), often used by gospel bluegrass bands. By the time this song was cut in 1970 Dottie, her husband Buck, and her daughter Reba, had formed The Singing Rambos and were well established as a force in country gospel. ~Masato
