Hi, thanks to all who offered advice on driving in Scotland. I managed fine with only a few scary incidents. The worst part was the first few hours where I got lost from the airport and ended up driving around Glasgow instead of heading away from the city. I'm back safe and sound and not a scratch on the rental car. Had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!

I wouldn't feel too relaxed about driving in Scotland. I just passed my test today. You have been warned

You can't be any worse than some of the idiots that I see on the road every day, and some of them have been driving for years.

Hi, Noreen, Didn't meet any Mudcatters but went to the Port William Festival and very much enjoyed it. It was small but good. Otherwise I did a lot of hiking around Ayrshire, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and made a lot of music on my own with a friend. I had a lovely time and just loved Scotland!
