I'm looking for a Malicorne website that may have lyrics translated into english, or a site with french folk songs that are translated and may contain Malicorne songs.

This page (click) has Malicorne lyrics in French. That's a start. If you post a song that interests you, I'm sure somebody will help you with a translation. Of course, since the original request is ten years old, the matter may be moot. You got a Malicorne song that interests you, Abby?

We'd also have to correct the transcriptions on that site, which are full of mistakes. 'secoloxx', whoever he or she was, never seems to have come back after starting this very old thread (rather before my time here). I suspect that at least a few songs recorded by Malicorne have been posted here since then, but if Abby is particularly interested in any, I'm sure that we could oblige among us.

All the lyrics of Malicorne songs (in French) are on the site of Gabriel Yacoub.

http://www.gabrielyacoub.com/

Click on Site Map (after clicking English Version). There they are. , Grazie mille, Paola. (When you get to the CD covers, click them. It brings up the contents of each CD and then click Lyrics.)

I havnt got any Malicorn CDs but have a couple of Gabriel Yacoub's. Bel is a lovely CD. Havnt been on Gabriels website in ages. He started off in Alan Stivells band. Saw them on tour in 1976.

Ive got a file of Stivell lyrics if anyone is interested. Plus a few from Bel somewhere on my computer.

If anyone is interested:
Wikipedia page on Malicorne

I realize the name literally means "my unicorn" but every time I see it, I can't help but read it as 'bad unicorn"!
