Subject: Seeking Lyrics to Bob Beers song From: GUEST,Sandra Gordon Date: 31 Oct 01 - 11:23 PM Does anyone out there know of a song called "The more I travel" written by Bob Beers and sung at the Fox Hollow folk festival in NY years ago, before 1967 when he was killed in an auto accident. I think the song title is "The More I Travel" It also has the following refrain: The more I travel, the farther I go, the more I learn, the less I know, hum umm umm, um um um um. One of the verses goes "When I was young I used to think, that life was white or black as ink. But now I see that black is gray, and white gets darker every day" Thanks so much in advance. this is a great site. |
