Hello, I am not sure this is where to get help or not; I have tried (every) lyric site (in the world). I am looking for a song that starts " While you were asleep I was kissing your forehead, you gave a sigh so I kissed you again......." I have heard this song on the radio (mid 80's ??) by some pop singer (I had though it was Dan Folgleberg) and years later I has it on a childrens lullabye tape for my daughter. Now I can not find it ANYWHERE. What help is avail.

The song was written by Grahm Nash or at least he recorded it on his first Solo album.
When you were asleep I was kissing your forehead, you gave a frown so I kissed you again, You started waking put your arms 'round my waist, just making sure I was there then you drifted away, then you drifted away

OK I dug up my old Graham Nash "Songs for Beginners" LP. The title of the song is "Sleep Song" The Second verse is as follows
And When I awoke, I found out I'd been dreaming, some of my bed clothes were still on the floor, I looked around realized you were leaving me, I saw the back of your dress, as you slipped through the door. as you slipped through the door.
