Subject: WEST YORKSHIRE CATTERS From: GUEST,Raggytash Date: 17 Nov 01 - 12:13 PM Hello to all West Yorkshire Catters, if like me your musical tastes are wide and varied Saturday the 24th will see a superb R&B band playing at MIlnsbridge Liberal Club, just to the west of Huddersfield. Somebody's Brother are a great band who consist of Keyboard, drums, bass, lead, & Rhythm guitars and if we're lucky Saxophone. Providing vast hordes do not descend, the gig will be followed by supper with me & the Wombat. A good selection of beers is on tap at the club, at reasonable prices and a very very good band! Hope to see some of you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Subject: RE: WEST YORKSHIRE CATTERS From: Eric the Viking Date: 18 Nov 01 - 04:20 PM No raggy-I posted in your first thread-brothers. Unfortunately I can't make it. I also asked if you were going to see last nights fun at the Wheel-Golcar, but you didn't and missed a superb night. Cheers. Eric |
Subject: RE: WEST YORKSHIRE CATTERS From: GUEST,Raggytash Date: 19 Nov 01 - 01:53 PM Eric, I did see your reply and G the D's but thought a different approach was needed to air the gig, which will be superb. I,ve seen the band loads of times, even roadied for them in Amsterdam and Ireland and know it will be a great night. As for Saturday, the Wheel causes some sort of mental block, it's less than a mile away but I never think to go up there and I know Dave and Anne who run it. Old age perhaps! Sorry you can't make it |
