Subject: Collection of simple Christmas carols? From: kimmers Date: 27 Nov 01 - 11:52 PM I'm going to be taking some kids Christmas caroling in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to be spared the burden of typing up song booklets. Is anyone aware of a collection of words-only traditional (not Frosty and Rudolph) Christmas carols on-line that I could download and make copies of? We could just borrow hymnals from the church, but these are middle-school kids and I want them to be able to concentrate on singing and not on keeping the hymnals out of the rain and mud. |

Subject: RE: Collection of simple Christmas carols? From: George Seto - af221@chebucto.ns.ca Date: 29 Nov 01 - 04:50 AM kimmers, a couple of years ago, I put together a Christmas Song book, which included many standard Christmas carols as well as quite a number of the secular songs we know well too. Also included are several of the common narrations, including YEs, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. It's in Word Perfect format, includes an index, and takes up 120 or so pages. If you print in Word Perfect you can print in a Booklet format which sends the pages to a printer in a form like a small book. If you double side the book, or combine the pages later, it brings it down to 60 or so pages. IF you would like this, send me a PM and I will send it to you as an e-mail attachment. |
