Seeking lyrics to song current around Birmingham - 35 years or so ago? Chorus along the lines of

'Spaghetti Junction please avoid,
it can only bring you down,
it takes you up and over, through
and round and round and round and round'

No idea who wrote it or even who sang it, but probably heard at the Jug of Punch in Digbeth, so it may have been the Ian Campbell Folk Group.

The song Spaghetti Junction seems to be done by Outkast. I found it at several places. One of them is here,

Lived near it, Aged P still does, one of my schoolfriends & family were moved to make way for it, I used to listen to Ian Campbell in the '60s/'70s but don't remember this song, not on any IC group records I've got, Google only brings up the rap song already referred to, over to Harvey Andrews?
RtS (now they're pulling down the Rotunda: if it wasn't vertical they'd spend a fortune restoring it!)

1812? Geoff Bodenham ran the Talbot pub in Bridgnorth for years and had a folk night Sundays which still goes. I saw him at the festival this year.
