Need help finding the name/lyrics of a haunting song I heard once on the TV show E.R. I remember part: "... all alone, we are born. All alone, we must someday die. ... It's just sand and water, baby..." or something like that. Anybody know what this was? I'll be indebted to you. Please eMail me at cjanem@earthlink.net if you can help. Thanks!

Beautiful song, I heard a man called John Wright sing it, but Paul has given you what you need about the Author.

The song is called Sand and Water and is written and sung by Beth Neilsen Chapman - from the album of the same name.

A brilliant writer of magical songs.

regards,

Mel

Yep - when that episode first aired, I couldn't think of anything else until I had tracked down the performer/writer of that beautiful song. The minute I found out, I rushed right down the the music store. The ENTIRE CD is wonderful - very poignant. She did it soon after the death of her husband - it's one of my favorite CDs. Love, Robin
