Subject: Who wrote Blueberry Hill? From: GUEST,Philj200@hotmail.com Date: 09 Jan 02 - 02:32 PM Yes, it was a rock and roll song from 1957. But that's older than thousands of folk songs and it endures as well. And like much (most?) folk music, it started out as commercial music. Don't need the lyrics. But to settle an arguement at work, I don't think Fats Domino wrote it but am challenges to find out who did. Can anyone assist? Many thanks. Phil |

Subject: RE: Help: Who wrote Blueberry Hill? From: Ron Davies Date: 14 Jul 13 - 05:27 PM Thanks, Joe. Looks like bourgeois US culture has conquered the Kremlin. But that gal who was neither smiling nor swaying along with the beat had best watch out. She may be visited by some of Mr. Putin's music fans in police uniform. Wonder if the fact she was wearing a red dress will save her. |
