I'm looking for lyrics to a song I heard some time ago and can only remember the tune and snatches of lyric.

The title is something like either

When Ladies Go a Thieving or Curious Times

Chorus goes something like:

Oh, don't we live all in curious times It could scarcely be believed When Frenchmen.... And ladies go a thieving.

Part of a verse is: Oh thieving is a curious trade The truth to you I'll tell now
