I recently heard Kirsty MacColl's "In These Shoes" for the first time, and I nearly drove up a tree laughing! Now I'm on a quest to hear more of her stuff; anyone here a fan?

She may not have been baptised at all if her parents weren't religious. I take it her name was registered as MacColl though as her brothers etc seem to use that name too

I found it frustrating that songs are listed which weren't recorded or weren't released, but then no lyrics are given.

I only looked at a few, but re the lack of her lovelife, Joe, I liked "He never mentioned love."

I don't find much resemblance, Dave, between Ewan's and Kirsty's lyric styles.
