Can anyone help with chords to a part of Waltzing's For Dreamers by Richard Thompson ? The two lines of the verse which begin .. and Mr Bandleader won't you etc. In the key I play it (D) I think they are Emin and Amaj but not sure..Ta.

Only dont use those chords, Transpose to use G or D keys.Have you heard Tabor or Dave Burland do it ? Lovely song to sway by.

Thanks very much indeed to everyone for the help. I have transposd it to D. It truly is a great song. It's my wife's favourite since she heard it on a Richard Thompson CD and she's been on at me for ages to learn it.

Those Mudcatters - always on the ball...beat me to it. Thompson plays it in the key of F, but with a capo on the 3rd fret so the fingering is D. The line you asked about would go: A - A/G bass - Em - A.
