The two lines of the verse which begin .. and Mr Bandleader won't you etc. In the key I play it (D) I think they are Emin and Amaj but not sure..Ta. |

Thompson plays it in the key of F, but with a capo on the 3rd fret so the fingering is D. The line you asked about would go: A - A/G bass - Em - A. Cheers, Michael |
