Hi , Some of you dancers out there might be interested in 2 new websites I have just put online for our local morris sides.
The Argarmeles Clog and the Southport Swords are both from the Southport/Formby area in the North West of England.
www.argarmelesclog.org.uk
www.southportswords.org.uk
If anyone feels like joining?
Cheers Les Brown

Good looking pages! I'd love to join, but it's a bit of a commute from New England, USA. I'll stick to the Harrisville morris women.

OK so the JohnB part should not have been blue. It is the first time it has ever worked for me though. Yah! JohnB

Having accompanied Argameles on one of their excellent weekends I would urge any would be dancer to go along as they are a great bunch. Bit far from Pontefract though!

You guys make me sooooooo jealous; you're absolutely spoilt for choice in the UK! A few friends of mine are thinking of starting a mixed side here (Massachusetts; there are several morris &/or sword teams in the Boston area, we're further west)for our own amusement. There just don't seem to be a massive # of my fellow Americans who share my unbridled passion for the morris, alas!

Desdemona, where further west? How far from the Monadnock region of NH? There's a small coterie here with your enthusiasm!

Mixed side eh? A few eyebrows were raised when we had a mixed side in Dubai (1977 onwards). Does anyone know if Dubai-Sharjah Morris or Abu Dhabi Morris still exist?

Animaterra--I'd be very pleased to come see you; I attempted to PM you twice but both times an "error occurred while processing (my) request"...I'll try again later!

Whereabouts are you located?
