WHO IS PSYCHIC? Anyone want to play a little game? My local public radio station does this regularly and it gets to be outrageous, bizzare and down right funny! Anything goes, all you have to do is make your prediction.

1. Patriots lose

2. This thread will happen if people join in.

3. G.W. Bush will become spokesperson for Gold pretzels and Blatz beer.

Have Fun!! Rustic

Amergin, if you are collecting lumps on your noggin from you partner, perhaps you'll have some insights to share on a thread I just started called, "Men and the porcine element".

I predict that I will pay my bills this week (barring some truly bizarre act of whatever deity).

I will get scratched by an over amorous cat (he really loves me).

I will have to clean cat puke off at least one surface (she goes to the vet next week if it carries on....)

Bratling will make me scream/sick/want to hug her at least once a day.

I will have a wonderful time on Thursday (Mudguard is coming over), Friday will be even better and I will get very VERY drunk on Saturday, because it's my turn!

O.K. Everybody, here goes. I predict: I will not watch the superbowl and won't care about the score although I will finds out what it is. I will listen to Eva Cassidy again (And Again) two of our three cats will get on the fis tank more than once. We will see more snow inspite of the fact that we've seen very little for this time of year this year. i will end my message the same way. I will drink more coffe than some of the whiners I know claim is good for me and no, I won't care. Traffic, the weather and the newest version of Reaganomics will still suck. Kindest regards, Neil

1. I will spend a considerable amount of time in the car, shuttling kids to various points on their respective agandae.

2. I will almost certainly not get the appropriate # of essential vitamins and minerals in my diet.

3. I will end the week looking back open-mouthed at what a crazed whirlwind it has been, and begin making lists before looking down the barrel of the next one.

4. I'll take some time to sit down for a minute or two [with a beer, it is to be hoped ;~)]& bullshit on Mudcat.

I see more snow falling on various spots in the USA . . .

I see people who have lost electricity not listening to the radio station to hear the predictions . . .

I see kitties who barf up hairballs getting relief when their mommies & daddies buy them hairball remedy--this too, shall pass!

Wow - I will get laid at least once - more if I'm really nice.

My Doctor will not figure out why

I will play a lot of music on Sunday - and some more throughout the week

If I wake up I will go to sleep

On this diet I can't fart so nothing good in that arena :-(

I'll try to learn Hobo's Lullaby a little better.

I'll play my new banjo a couple of times and not get divorce papers served on me - unless I play really loud and obnoxiously

I won't learn to frail but will continue to flail away at trying

I'll - - - - - I know - I am going to take Thursday off as that appears to be the Friday for this next week - it'll screw my supervisor all up!!

And hang with the Cat and Tweed and Hippiechick

Steve

Hey BOB!!! Welcome Back Bro!!!

Three of my predictions have come true already and it isn't even Monday!! The only thing different is that the cat that barfed on the sofa wasn't the one I expected it to be....

You can get 'Anti-furball' cat biccies now.... give them a try, see what we get. The major problem is that the one with the furballs still is a bit edgy and won't come close enough for long enough to be brushed properly.

I will still be unable to speak. I will be bored until Wednesday when I will have lunch with and play guitar for a friend who sings like an angel, that is, if her s.o. doesn't get jealous. On Thursday, Sinsull comes to Maine to live, and I will meet her cats. On Friday I'll go to a hootnanny all weekend and have a hell of a good time even if I cant sing, I can listen.

Kendall:

Kindly said for an old Mainiac curmudgeon, and much appreciated, especially since true. I've always enjoyed the Yiddish expression "If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger", even though I'm sensitive that it has distinct limits to its applicability.

Actually it ain't that bad. Just a transient case of vapors effecting the middle ear. It's actually healing pretty quickly, considering the severity of the symptoms.

The experts call it Cochleitis chiquita which depending on your Latin can mean "losing balance due to over-exposure to beauty" or "you have a banana in your ear".

I'm not sure which this is, because I can't hear anything, because I.... oh, never mind! LOL!!
