I know this is a long shot, but I can't find the music to this anywhere. It is an instrumental and I have it on a CD of Songs from the Taiga by a group called the Wolga. Does anyone play this? Does anyone have any tab? I play guitar but any tab will do... Thanks a bunch, Margo

Do you mean "In the Trenches of Manchuria"? Fo to JC's ABC Tune Finder and enter "Manchuria"into the search engine--it comes up as "In the Hills of Manchuria" Click here and you have many options, including text files with chords, PDF files that include chords and music notation, MIDI files, and my favorite, ABC files, which you can open with freeware, and which play the melody and show the notation--

Different entries are in different keys--I played it in a Russian ensemble, for what it's worth, we used Am--

Unfortunately, I don't know where to find either the original Russian lyrics, or an English translation, but the song is about Russian troops, basically freezing to death in the Manchurian winter--I mention this because, if you should happen to play it for Russians, they will sing it--
