Looking for the lyrics of 'always spring' from a cd titled: Celtic Journey by Mark Britten. My sister in law adores this music and I would like to surprise her by providing the lyrics. Who can help? Many thanks.

Not much luck. I suspect it's a new song, written by him, therefore under copyright. For anyone who wants to go digging, I found the album listed here, with a choice of Wav or MP3 files.

Hey, I played this cd a lot in my office while teaching as a professsor. The students who came in often stopped to listen to it and wanted to know who it was. They were mezmerized by it, which I thought was very impressive, considering the were college students. Took the initiative back then to track down Mark Britten. Got the lyrics and the score from him directly. It was not easy tracking him down. Maybe now it is, but he was surely willing to share. Do remember that he said it was actually an old tune resurrected by him, and if I remember correctly, the author is unknown. Even the vocalist for "Always Spring" is a relative unknown, at least in 02-03. Will dig thru my files to see if I can find the score. It has been ten years tho, so you might be well served to simply seek out his website and correspond directly.
If I find it, I'll repost. I ended up at this blog looking to replace the cd, as my kids seemed to have relocated it permanently SOMEWHERE.

The song is sung by Alquima on her CD Forever. The lyrics are included in the CD booklet.

Thanks for the link, cnd. I can't understand it either. Well, I did get these words:

Day unsung..........

ribbon (or is it river?)

"reasons" and "seasons" rhyme somewhere further along.

Note to self: If I ever pay to have a CD made, I will ask an outsider if s/he can understand the words without being given the lyrics to read.

It's too bad, because the voices make for pleasant listening.

Similar musically to 'Eres Tu' from way back when.

Here's the song from 1973: https://www.google.com/search?q=%27Eres+Tu%27&rlz=1C1CHBF_enCA846CA846&oq=%27Eres+Tu%27&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
