JOCK TAMSON'S BAIRNS www.jtbairns.com the well-known Scottish traditional band, which includes singer Rod Paterson and fiddle player Ian Hardie in its 5-piece line-up, have been invited to the USA to play in Memphis TN in mid-September. They have also been offered a gig at Alabama Games at the end of the month.

We need to find some more 'handy' gigs between these two offers to make the trip really worth-while. The INS require the folks in Memphis to make visa applications in early March for this trip so there is a considerable amount of urgency in this posting!
