You've stumbled onto two great pieces of Pop trivia too! The Silhouettes join with three other groups/singers in having their first song (in this case, "Get A Job") go to number ONE in the pop charts and then never having another one even crack the top 100! The others are The Hollywood Argyles(Alley Oop), The Singing Nun(Dominique), and Zager and Evans(2525).

Also, the early revival group Sha-Na-Na took their name from this song.
