Subject: Lyrics request :Until From: GUEST,chordstrangler Date: 27 May 02 - 03:44 PM Hi Catters, I'm wondering if any of you out there can help me find the lyrics of a song called "Until". A friend of mine is recording it and is stuck for some of the words. He thinks one line goes "no rose in all the world until you came" or something like that?

Subject: RE: Lyrics request :Until From: chordstrangler Date: 27 May 02 - 07:42 PM Dear Bardford, Thanks a million. If ever you find yourself in the wild west of Ireland call to Listowel, go to John B's, I will meet you and buy you a pint ....nay, a gallon. Best wishes and again, thanks......Mickey |
Subject: RE: Lyrics request :Until From: Bardford Date: 29 May 02 - 03:25 PM Mickey, no problem. I would love to take up (and match) your offer. I imagine, though, it will be a while before I set foot on your side of the puddle. In the meantime, I'll just tally up the pints and send you a bill when I reach a gallon. Cheers, Bardford |
Subject: Lyr Add: UNTIL (Teschemacher, Sanderson) From: Jim Dixon Date: 11 Sep 05 - 06:40 PM Copied from http://www.recmusic.org/lieder/get_text.html?TextId=15707 UNTIL Words, Edward Teschemacher. Music, Wilfred Sanderson. 1910. No rose in all the world until you came, No star until you smiled upon life's sea, No song in all the world until you spoke, No hope until you gave your heart to me. O rose, bloom ever in my lonely heart, O star, shine steadfast with your light divine, Ring on, O song, your melody of joy, Life's crowned at last, and love, and love is ever mine. |
