I'd go as far as one of the best books ever written. Must be 45 years since I read it and it's still in my mind. I've often assured visitors that they'd be welcome & there's plenty of extra stirabout on the hob. I think I should re-read it.

In case folks haven't heard of it, there is a great used book store that specializes in books of Irish interest. It is at www.quixotebooks.com. I've been ordering from them for year, and never been disappointed.
