I haven't checked the DT, but I'm pretty sure it's there. Just in case -
A slightly different (from previous post) lyric for Red Wing follows, as TEXT A, with a "Vulgar Version" as TEXT B.
Guy Logsdon, in The Whorehouse Bells Were Ringing: and Other Songs Cowboys Sing, page 207ff, gives:
RED WING TEXT A
There once lived an Indian maid,
A shy little prairie maid,
She sang a lay, a love song gay,
While on the plains she'd while away the day;
This shy little maid of old,
She loved a warrior bold,
But far, far away he rode one day,
To battle in the fray.
CHORUS
Now the moon shines tonight on pretty Red Wing,
The breeze is sighing, the night bird's crying;
Far, oh, far beneath the star her brave is sleeping,
