Subject: RE: Mucatter on BBC Scotland (link) From: GUEST,Sarah Date: 06 Jun 02 - 11:11 AM That makes two Mudcatters as if you go to page two of the unsigned bands page you'll also find Kinin (which was 50% me). Sadly we have recently split up as a duo, but watch this space for a fiddle-based band coming your way from deepest Huddersfield. Cheers Sarah |
Subject: RE: Mucatter on BBC Scotland (link) From: Noreen Date: 06 Jun 02 - 03:22 PM Thanks Larry, great track. And hello Sarah! Sorry to hear you've split up, I enjoyed Kinin at Cleckheaton (or was it Saddleworth) last year. Keep us in touch with developments- it's good to have insider info! Noreen |

Subject: RE: Mucatter on BBC Scotland (link) From: InOBU Date: 06 Jun 02 - 05:44 PM Great old story about the second name, the first, is the name Sheamus Ennis knew the song by, he played it for some record company, and they asked the name, before he could say An Phis Fluich (the wet [rather rude term for a uniquly female part of the reproductive system...]) a wag said O'Farrel's weclome to Limmerick. Ennis looked up started and said, "It must have been one effing hell of a welcome!!!" Cheers and congrats and comizerations to Sarah... always going through the same thing in my band... Larry |
Subject: RE: Mucatter on BBC Scotland (link) From: GUEST,Sarah Date: 07 Jun 02 - 02:53 AM Thanks folks - Noreen, it must have been Saddleworth last year. Been through a few splitups in my time and have come to treat them as new beginnings. Maybe the new thing will work better and last longer - who knows. Congrats Sorcha Dorcha on making the page though - we've been up on it for nearly a year despite the one month contract with the BBC. Cheers Sarah |
