I copied this from Cowpie. Note that Alan Lomax included a verse from T for Texas in his transcription of "Muleskinner Blues."

T for Texas
Jimmie Rodgers

      E                               E7 A
Well, 'T' for Texas, 'T' for Tennessee
A                               E
'T' for Texas, 'T' for Tennessee
B7                                                E
'T' for Thelma, the gal that made a wreck out of me

If you don't want me mama, you sure don't have to stall
If you don't want me mama, you sure don't have to stall
'Cause I can get more women than a passenger train [can haul]

Well, I'm going where the water drinks like cherry wine
I'm going where the water drinks like cherry wine
'Cause this Georgia water tastes like turpentine

I'd rather drink muddy water and sleep in a hollow log
I'd rather drink muddy water and sleep in a hollow log
Than to be here in Atlanta, [and] get treated like a dirty dog

E            B7          E
Women make a fool out of me

If you're ever down in mobile be sure to look me up
If you're ever down in mobile be sure to look me up
And if your ever in Atlanta tell Lucille to go to hell

Women make a fool out of me

"Blue Yodel," Jimmie Rodgers. (No. 1), (T for Texas)
Posted version lacks these verses of the first recorded version of 1927.

Insert verse 2:
I'm gonna buy me a pistol, just as long as I'm tall (Lawd, Lawd)
I'm gonna buy me a pistol, just as long as I'm tall
I'm gonna shoot poor Thelma, just to see her jump and fall.
(Yodel)

Insert verse 4:
I'm gonna buy me a shotgun, with a great long shiny barrel
-Gonna buy me a shotgun with a great long shiny barrel
I'm gonna shoot that rounder, that stole away my gal.
(Yodel)

Verse 5: Connective "ands" not on recording.

Mobile verse not in original. Ever sung by Rodgers??

The verses with pistol and shotgun sorta give a different take on the song. From the copy on Rounder CD 1056, Jimmie Rodgers 1927-1928, First Sessions.

The Cowpie version seems to have been put together by someone at the University of Nevada, leaving out the hardware.

Thanks, Q. Probably it would have been better to post the whole thing, and not just the corrections. We're not THAT short of space, and lyrics are easier to read if they're complete.
