Sides 5-8

Shucks...we're missing the 48-page liner notes by Robert Shelton

Anyone have a copy of the notes we could copy?

The RealAudio files work fine for me, now that I have a broadband connection - try again (click). The sound quality is quite good.

Thanks, Joe. I haven't looked at The Vinyl Preservation Project for a while, but there certainly is a lot of good stuff there. There is a 1956 album by the Kossoy Sisters listed - I think they are going to be at the Getaway.

In the wake of Pete Seeger, I went reaching back in the Mudcat archives to this recording (he sings Darling Corey, Paddy Works on the Railway & Which Side Are You On?). It seems like the 'Vinyl Preservation Project' has gone away but this box set is still available. The liner notes are worth the reading (and the 'roots' music is great).
