Subject: Blind Lemon in Hull tonight From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 11 Jul 02 - 03:24 AM For those that don't already know, the local band Blind Lemons's Hot Five (ex Marlborough Club, Chanterlands Avenue), have a new venue at The Tap & Spile,Spring Bank and are playing their first gig there at 9 PM tonight, and then every Thursday.Admission is free, go and support them if you can and keep music live, I know when they were playing at The Marlborough, there were usually a few catters there, including harpmaker, rambling rose etc, so if you are in the area, pop in and you might get to meet a few local catters. |

I think it is called skuffle music and blues etc. |

Could Oakley fit this really big violin that sits on the floor snugly into Geoffrey the boil? I woulnd't fancy nicking chips off the fella that does tuck it under his chin. Was he there? Gary |
