Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: Liz the Squeak Date: 30 Sep 02 - 03:04 AM And you don't get much sillier than Susan of Cheshunt, she's mad as a bag of haddock. Hannah, did you try posting your request on the Morris Dancer's forum? I'm afraid I can't provide the link, but there are several out there. LTS |
Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: Joe Offer Date: 30 Sep 02 - 06:15 PM You people are all wrong. As her website plainly shows, Beverly Garland is a well-known actress and hotel owner. She held a recurring role in "My Three Sons," but I'll bet nobody remembers her from that. Heck, it appears that nobody remembers her - except that here in the Sacramento area, she owned a hotel that went belly-up. Click here to get to her website and get your very own Beverly Garland pinup and everything. I'll betcha the UK Beverley doesn't have a pinup. -Joe Offer- Click here for photos.... |

Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: gnomad Date: 01 Oct 02 - 02:55 PM Nice one Joe, and of course she might be the team's salvation, how much to post her from your side of the pond? Must get my glasses, I missread pinup as pimp, don't even want to think about it. |
Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: lady penelope Date: 01 Oct 02 - 06:59 PM Stonking stuff!! Hannah, have you ever considered the female gunslinger look as a possible for the side's outfit? Could be interesting! TTFN M'Lady P. |
Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: GUEST,Hannah Date: 02 Oct 02 - 07:26 AM The original message was posted as a (serious) thread with the aim of getting some new members for Beverley Garland Dancers in the UK. Llama |
Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: Noreen Date: 02 Oct 02 - 07:32 AM Yes Hannah, I'm sure we're all aware of that. I'm also sure that nothing that has been posted here has detracted from that aim, but has actually served to attract more attention to your thread than it would otherwise have received. Do Beverley Garland Dancers not have a sense of humour, then? |
Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: GUEST,Don Date: 02 Oct 02 - 01:43 PM To Joe Offer: I certainly remember Beverley Garland from "My Three Sons". Indeed, that's what led me to read this thread. I believe she played the character who eventually married the father (the character played by Fred MacMurry [or was it McMurry?].) Now, after hearing about the Beverley Garland dancers, I wonder if the actress's name is a stage name that was deliberately intended as a pun. |

Subject: RE: Beverley Garland Dancers - New Members From: maeve Date: 12 Jan 12 - 11:39 AM Seems this would be more effective in the upstairs Music section. This update might be of interest to quite a few 'Catters. |
