Greetings, everyone... As we have discussions about depression and the like from time to time, I wanted to pass along this public service announcement for Catters in the US and Canada.

Thursday, October 10 is National Depression Screening Day. If you think that you, or someone you know, might be depressed, visit a screening site for a free screening. It's a short multiple choice test that indicates whether or not you may be having symptoms of clinical depression. If so, you'll be given information about the resources in your area, so you can get the help you need.

The treatment for depression can be ill treatment indeed. Consumer beware!!!!!!!!! Legalized drugs (for those who can afford them) never solve the underlying problems. Psychiatry can be VERY dangerous!!!!!!!

And it can also be very helpful. Drugs are not the only answer, and any doctor worth their salt will tell you that.
