(I had a Takamine, by the way, but didn't bother to read the thread..) Somebody must be interested, because others post to them.. Whatever turns you on... Jerry |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: harpmaker Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:30 PM Well, it gives 'em sumut to talk about when they ar'nt in the pub. And yea, they must care, otherwise they would'nt post to the thread, bang bang! But I do get your point. |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: Amos Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:32 PM I believe it is being tolerated out of compassion for a deteriorating condition, or some thing like that. A |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: khandu Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:36 PM Hell, Amos. I think we are all suffering from a deteriorating condition called time! And I ain't even 53 yet! k |

Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: Amergin Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:42 PM i don't know....i just see alot of folks bitching cause there is not enough music threads....but when some one posts alot of guitar threads he gets slammed.... |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: Amos Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:44 PM Nathan: How many holes in your guiter? is not a musical thread. And I think the bitching has dropped way down since the BS filter was introduced. A |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: Benjamin Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:46 PM What ever happened ti 53 anyway? I thought having two posters with the same name was quite entertaining. |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: khandu Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:46 PM Good point, Amergin. But, if you read the first post on the "D chord" thread, it doesn't appear to have been intended to be a musical thread...though many did submit musical responses. k |
Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: khandu Date: 15 Oct 02 - 08:49 PM Benjamin, 53 refreshed his threads that are now on the board again. So he is still around. k |

Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 15 Oct 02 - 09:56 PM 53 is obviously someone bemoaning the total lack of instrument threads of late. I just looked, and except for the guitar threads he has refreshed there is not a single instrument thread on the forum. (Well, there's the "Ask Dr. Guitar" thread, but that's applying a pretty liberal interpretation of the term "instrument thread".) Personally, I like guitars. In fact, I like guitars better than anything in the world besides women. In fact, I'm not so sure about the women thing either. I have posted to a couple of the refreshed threads because I did not have a computer when they were originally on the forum and the subjects are of interest to me. If older threads are refreshed to give newcomers, or people who may have missed the thread the first time around a chance to throw in their two-cents-worth I see nothing wrong with it. If you saw it or posted to it the first time around, just pretend it's a S*****r thread and ignore it. |

Subject: RE: BS: Who's 53 From: wysiwyg Date: 16 Oct 02 - 09:50 AM Leadfingers, a simple search on 53's posts, going back to the start and skimming forward, would answer your question, and it's what's usually done here when one has a question about someone's posting history or their place at the Mudcat. Click the underlined 53 in the header of Bob's post to see how this works. ~Susan |
