As you may remember from last year, Mum has become quite an accomplished flier, resulting in a broken ankle. She's still taking the course, but she's STILL not got the hang of landings!!!!!!! She's now managed to break her collarbone!

She flew downstairs on Wednesday morning, and is now modelling a very fashionable and stylish sling.

Please feel free to post comments or anything to this thread. No sympathy please! She was "under the influence" at the time!

It also has to be said..... it must have been the result of drinking the 2 bottles of wine won in the G + D quiz !!!! glad I got my neck treatment before the latest 'Flying lesson'

You must get the broom serviced too ! :-)

Firecat waited to post this when she got down to London to stay with Micca and CatsPHiddle - I'm not sure she will be brave enough to come back!!!!!

At the moment I'm developing an interesing range of colour schemes. All the said at the hospital was to stick my arm in a sling for a few weeks to rest it.

The birthday cake is safe, along with the wine. It was the proper sherry from one of those pouring sacks that did it!!! And I had already gone to get ready for bed.....
